Ruby's Story...
Meet Ruby! All the way from Lufkin, TX to FTW. Ruby is approximately 4 years old and is a sweetheart. She was awfully thin when she arrived in August, but now reminds me a 'Simon' the chipmunk because this little angel loves to eat!

Ruby gets along fine with the other personal pets and fosters in our home but pretty much stays to herself on that BIG bed in the kitchen (guess she likes to be near the food - LOL). I know Ruby would love to be someone's one and only or maybe share the home with another companion.

Ruby has been fully vetted and is heartworm negative. She is now ready to interview YOU to see if you can provide her with the wonderful loving home she deserves! If you'd like to meet Ruby, please call her foster mom @ 817-714-0990 or send an email to ThreeWeeDogs@yahoo.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ruby, a Fort Worth Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Fort Worth, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Fort Worth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Worth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Worth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Worth paves the way for another one to be saved.
