Harry's Story...
Harry was a matted mess when we saved him from the kill list. Now as you can see he is a very handsome boy! Despite his previous condition, Harry was and is an outgoing, social and playful guy! He hasn't had a since accident in the house, rarely barks and knows how to use the dog door. Harry is a loving guy and he enjoys being held although a lap will suffice too. He is great with other dogs so another canine friend would be great. Harry also enjoys sunbathing, although we haven't had many warm days for him to do much of that lately so he squeeze it in when he can! A warm, sunny spot inside works just as well too! His foster mom reports that he is such an easy foster and the he really blends in very well to just about an environment!

Harry is looking for a home that will not let his hair get all crazy like it was when we rescued him! He looks so much cuter with a manicured coif and we know he feels a ton better too! Daily walks are a must for our adorable guy! Did we mention he is an EXCELLENT walker?! Plenty of snuggle time for our affectionate boy are also on Harry's wish list. In exchange, Harry promises to be your BFF and love you all the days of his life! Sounds like a great deal to us! Please fill out an application for him today - www.azrescue.org.

Harry weighed 14.9 pounds when we saved him from the kill list.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harry, a Phoenix Lhasa Apso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Lhasa Apso dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
