Buddy was found wandering the neighborhood of a friend and the neighbor threatened to call animal control if someone didn't do something with him, no one claimed him from the ads and flyers that were posted. Buddy is an adult yellow lab, roughly 5-7 years old. He is one very laid back dude, he goes out to play with a couple of our female pit mixes, but is just as happy laying in the sun watching them play.He has never had an accident in his kennel no matter what. He is neutered, up to date on vax and ready for a home of his own. If you are interested in Buddy, call for an appointment to meet him 931-698-0303 or email us at woofwoof324@gmail.com an adoption fee of $125 is required which goes toward saving another dog in need.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Columbia Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Columbia, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Columbia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbia paves the way for another one to be saved.
