Tootsy's Story...
Tootsy was found in February by a wonderful couple who, although unable to keep her, were glad to help her find a great home and trust me, Tootsy is in a GREAT foster home right now but would love nothing more than to find a human of her very own! Tootsy is a 'full figured' gal, weighing in at 10 lbs but it's 10 lbs of love, waiting for you to call and arrange to meet her. She is fully vetted, young, maybe 2 (just had her teeth cleaned) and gets along great with all her foster brothers and sisters! Please email or call or text 817-714-0990 if you are the lucky person to bring Tootsy home with YOU! Tootsy has been spayed/microchipped/vaccinated; $200 adoption fee

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tootsy, a Fort Worth Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Fort Worth, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Fort Worth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Worth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Worth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Worth paves the way for another one to be saved.
