Cutie Pie Cody Jolene's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Cutie Pie Cody Jolene's Story...
Cody is roughly 5 months old and weighs 35lbs. Dr. Bordan from the Galleria Animal Clinic spayed and gave her all of her shots.

I found Cody at about 7 weeks old, malnourished and very sick. She was attacked by my German Shepard and has since become very afraid of big dogs. If the dogs are nice, she will warm up to them but it takes time.

She can sit, stay, lay down and come. She is almost totally house trained but does need someone to remind her To go outside to potty.

She loves to curl up and out her head on your neck when you lay in bed.

I did a DNA panel on Cody, she is (from least to greatest)

Portuguese Water Dog
Husky
Rough collie
Airedale
Setter
Shepard
Old English sheep dog
Lab

Has lived with cats, big and small dogs, horses and lots of people.

Loves to swim and go on hikes!!!!

Shepard in the photo is the dog that mauled her. Took her 2 weeks and she ended up loving him

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cutie Pie Cody Jolene, a Alabaster Labrador Retriever/Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Collie for sale in Alabaster, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Collie puppy from a breeder in Alabaster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alabaster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alabaster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alabaster paves the way for another one to be saved.
