I am already neutered, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
Even if you cannot adopt you can help Beasley by making a donation to help pay for his food and care while here. I do not feel it is fair that just because a dog has been abused and has some issues they should be killed. A human did this to him so we have to be fair and give him a chance to over come his past and have a loving home!
This is Beasley he is about 6 to 7 years old. He had a rough start to life and has obviously been abused. He does much better with woman and now that we know what his triggers are and how to avoid them things are going along quite nicely. The right home for him would be with a woman who understands she is the boss of the house and Beasley will understand that too! He is not a needy dog and enjoys just laying in the sun and keeping to himself. He does enjoy head rubs and being snuggled a little but that takes time to get there for him. He has come a long way since he has been here and if he never leaves than he will be able to live his life out here. I refuse to put down a dog just because he "USED TO BE A BITER" He is messed up from a human so the last thing he needs is to be killed for something that was not his fault! He can be ver submissive and will even pee if I raise my voice so there is a scared little boy in there who just needs someone to love him and understand him! If you are that woman please contact me!

Foxy Doxy is a TRUE NO KILL RESCUE whose dogs live in a home. Never outside in kennels or barms or sheds etc. All of our dogs are treated like a family member! They are all crate trained, micro chipped, potty trained (except pups) up to date on shots and spayed or neutered (if not old enough will be done when theyare!)
See our website to view our calendar page but we are typically at the San Luis Obispo Petsmart next to Costco every Saturday from 11 to 5
All our adoptions require an application to be sure you are the right match and all our dogs have adoption fees to help cover the costs to run this rescue!
