Cody-Sweet Girl's Story...
The minute I touch Cody she is a total noodle, she is absolutely in love with being pet. You can see in the pics I am holding her and in the video she loves petting. All this girl wants to do is cuddle, cuddle, cuddle! What a lovebug! She is very loving and affectionate and can't wait to be the only kitty in your home!

Cody was rescued from Animal Care and Control right before she would have been euthanized. Truly an angel who loves attention, she has been fully vetted, tested neg for fiv/leuk, microchipped, defleaed, dewormed and ready for her new forever home!

If you would like to meet this wonderful girl, simply email Claire at catskittensnyc@gmail.com or call eves/weekends 718-455-5711

Thank you for thinking of a rescued angel, every dime BAA receives goes toward taking in the next kitty in need.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cody-Sweet Girl, a Brooklyn Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
