Amber's Story...
Amber is an active, social butterfly! She is looking for advenute! She loves to go out on walks and with the weather being so nice she has a new love - HIKING! All the smells, different terrain, people, dogs and things you see on the hike are just the best! Like most young labs, Amber has a lot of energy and is eager to burn it off! Runs, hikes, dog parks, playing with the ball are all favorite activities that our pretty gal happily engages in with a big smile on her face!

She is also an affectionate gal. She's happy to sit at your side, gentle touching you just so you'll know she is there. She enjoys hanging out with us humans after romping around for a bit. She's always by your side, eager to see what cool things you're doing!

Amber is a great size too. Not too big and not too small. Just right. She's looking for an active home with plenty of adventures. She's up for just about anything from hiking, to park time and proably swimming but with it being so cold we don't know that one for sure! We're sure she'd at least try it and if you're in it she's bond to be to. So if you have an active lifestyle and are looking for a great companion to join you, look no further, our precious girl has it all! Please fill out an application for her today - www.azrescue.org.

Amber weighed 38.2 pounds when we saved her from the kill list.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Amber, a Phoenix Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
