Shelby's Story...
My name is Shelby. I am much more quite and reserved than my kennel mate, Mojo. I am shy but sweet. My owners brought me to the shelter along with my kennel mate because they could no longer afford us. I am possessive over my toys but I am very nuturing to the right person. I would be good in a home with other dogs. I was born in Januray 2009.

Adoption fee is $85 cash or check or $90 with Paypal with the approval of adoption by staff. Vaccinations are up to date through adoption date. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shelby, a Spruce Pine Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in Spruce Pine, or seeking a Husky dog from a breeder in Spruce Pine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Spruce Pine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Spruce Pine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Spruce Pine paves the way for another one to be saved.
