Mercy's Story...
Meet the beautiful Mercy! Miss mercy's story will bring a grown man to tears as it is so sad! Miss mercy is one lucky little girl to still be with us on this beautiful planet! Mercy was given to us in full blown parvo, she was rushed to the vet where she spent the next 10 days at the vets office and nights at the emergency vet fighting for her life. There were some very rocky evenings where we were not sure if she would make it :( After taking Mercy in we found out that she had a sister that was sick before Mercy got ill, the sister did not make it :( Mercy has seen a lot of sadness in her short life of 12 months, but she is a trooper and has bounced back wonderfully! After recovering from the horrible parvo that almost took her life, Mercy broke with coccidia due to the parvo wiping out her immune system :( She has since recovered from all of that and has put on weight beautifully! In fact her favorite thing to do now is eat! She loves her food! She also loves romping around with her foster brother and playing and doing all the fun things that dogs do! As you can see in some of her pictures, Miss Mercy is a huge cuddle bug and is always up for a movie and a snuggle on the couch.. Miss Mercy is guessed to be a pit bull /whippet mix and is about 12 months old. Her coat is a beautiful shiny brindle that makes all the other doggies jealous of how beautiful she is! Look into her eyes for a couple seconds and you will not be able to look away, she has deep soulful eyes that tell a story! We have never seen Mercy with cats, so if you have cats and are interested in her please let us know so we can have her cat tested :) If you are interested in giving Mercy that forever home that she deserves please fill out an application and someone will get back to you shortly! Miss Mercy sends her slobbery kisses :)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mercy, a Bellingham American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
