Trevor's Story...
Photos just don't do Trevor justice! He is such a handsome boy and has such a wonderful disposition. He's a big favorite with the volunteers. Here's just one of the glowing notes about him:

"Trevor is one of my favorites! He walks with such pride, almost cocky in that he prances like he knows he is quite handsome. He pulls a bit when walking on a leach but with some instruction he quickly learned what to do. He is so very smart and receptive to treat-inspired commands. Trevor loves to give kisses and enjoys when you scratch his neck and behind his ears. What a fantastic boy who deserves an energetic, playful and loving family!"

Trevor enjoys walks and is an excellent hiking companion. He enjoys all the cool things on hikes, like the smells, the other people, dogs, etc. He rides well in the car, is good with other dogs and knows a few commands.

Trevor is a loving guy who is looking for a family of his own. He has a lot of love to give and that adorable underbite of his is bound to bring a smile to your face every day, along with the wonderful personality that goes along with it! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trevor, a Phoenix Rhodesian Ridgeback dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rhodesian Ridgeback for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Rhodesian Ridgeback dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rhodesian Ridgeback breeders who help with Rhodesian Ridgeback rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
