*Oreo*'s Story...
This beautiful dog originally was surrendered by her owner in Sept. 2012. Oreo is a 2 yr old spayed Lab/Pit mix, approx 50-55 pounds. Her owner was an elderly lady that had to move into a place that would not allow her to keep Oreo.
In Oct. 2012 Oreo was adopted. Unfortunately she was not taken taken care of at all. She was so skinny and sad, hanging her head and just dejected.
She is coming around slowly having gained weight and getting her confidence back.
Oreo needs someone that is going to reassure her that she is going to be ok and no person will do this to her again. Her spirit was bent, but is not broken., With some help and love she can be the dog she once was and is meant to be. She is good with other dogs, cats and kids. Microchipped, spayed and current on shots....Currently at the Tahoe Vista shelter where county fees apply.

We collaborate closely with the Tahoe Vista animal shelter to promote and advertise the dogs and cats in the shelter needing homes. We also have a network of foster homes where the animals reside while waiting for adoption. Our website is kept updated with adoptable animals.

Adoption application - cats inside only and no declawing, landlord approval.
Adoption contract. Will contact if pet needs to bereturned/rehomed.
Adoption fee - varies, average $40-$100
