Amy came to us from the Show Low area. Her owner just recently passed away, and she found herself at one of the local rescues. She is reserved and quiet, but as soon as you go to pet her and love her, she perks right up. She has been through alot these last few weeks. She loves to be petted. She just needs a new family to love her and see the potential she has to be a wonderful companion.

About Our Rescue Group...
Furever Friends Rescue is a 501(c)(3) corporation that has been designed to help reduce the number of intakes and euthanasia in Maricopa and Pinal Counties by helping people with life changing circumstances find new homes for their beloved pets. Individuals facing assisted living, nursing homes, hospice or those dealing with the death of a loved one now have an option: to relinquish their pets to us directly where they will be put up for adoption, thereby bypassing public intake.

Our Adoption Process...
We have a consultation form that is filled out for each animal that an individual is thinking about adopting. We then interview based upon that feedback. Once an animal is decided on, an adoption contract is signed, and the adoption fee is paid. If a person is adopting a dog, we do a home check prior to the adoption contract. Fees vary.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Amy, a Gilbert Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
