Amy's Story...
Amy came to us from the Show Low area. Her owner had passed away, and she found herself at one of the local rescues, looking for a new home.

Amy is a beautiful gal who is happy with her own company. Even though she is reserved, as soon as pet her, she perks right up and leans in for more love.

This 4 year-old kitty will be an awesome companion for a family looking for a first cat – but she is happy to supervise other cats too.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Amy, a Gilbert Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
