Breed: Pit Bull Terrier Mix Color: Brown/Chocolate - With White Age: Young
Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg) Sex: Female ID#: A026106
Ginger: Sweet-Natured!'s Story...
I was lost and hungry when a nice AC officer found me. My name is Ginger, and while I have a roof over my head and I've put on some weight, I still don't have a home to call my own. Everyone says how sweet-natured I am, but they also point out that I'm kinda plain-looking. That could be why people have passed me by and adopted "more colorful" dogs. If painting colorful spots on my coat will make me more appealing to you, we can discuss that.

I'm only about two years old, and I should have a long life of fun and love ahead of me ... but I've been here for two months and I think my days might be numbered. Will you please come meet me, spend some time with me, and see if I might be the perfect match for you? I'll be here in Kennel E-2, waiting to meet you. (Ask for # A026106.)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ginger: Sweet-Natured!, a Springfield Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Springfield, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Springfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Springfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Springfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Springfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
