Moses's Info...

Breed: Beagle Mix Color: Brown/Chocolate Age: Adult
Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg) Sex: Male ID#: A030769
Moses's Story...
My name is Moses and, until a few days ago, I had owners ... but they would let me run loose and then not want to pay something called a "fine" when I was picked up and brought to SCAC. I don't WANT to run loose; I'd much rather go for walks with my humans. Since I'm a Beagle mix, I enjoy exploring all of the interesting sights and smells of the world.

I'm about 10 years old, but you'd certainly never guess it. I have plenty of energy, I love to run and play and, in general, I just want to be a typical curious Beagle. We'll have lots of good times together when you take me home with you. Let's meet soon; kennel life just isn't much fun at all (Ask for # A030769.)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Moses, a Springfield Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Springfield, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Springfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Springfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Springfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Springfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
