Max-'s Story...
Max is a great young dog. He is about 9 months old and we think he looks like a bernese/rottie/swiss mountain dog mix. He is very friendly and has a lot of energy because he's still a teenager. He gets along great with people and other dogs. He is untested with cats. Because he is such a big boy we think he would be best in a home with older children :) Max was originally saved from the kill shelter when his time was up and he is all ready for a home of his own now! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max-, a Allentown Bernese Mountain Dog/Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bernese Mountain Dog/Rottweiler for sale in Allentown, or seeking a Bernese Mountain Dog/Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bernese Mountain Dog/Rottweiler breeders who help with Bernese Mountain Dog/Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
