Fatso's Story...
Hi my name is Fatso! I was recently rescued from the Downey County Animal Shelter by the Krazy Kat Lovers team! I am a super sweet, laid back little guy. I love cat trees and cuddling with the people in my life. I am desperate to find a furever home with someone who can give me lots of love and attention. I have been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped and I am great with other cats, dogs, and children. Come visit me today, I can't wait to be a part of your loving family!

Please remember that there are so many cats/kittens like me who need homes. Spread the word about spay and neuter and make sure all of your pets and pets in your neighborhood are spayed/neutered. All adoption fees are used to help cats/kittens like me and to promote spay and neuter of feral cat colonies.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fatso, a Lakewood Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Lakewood, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Lakewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lakewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lakewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lakewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
