Alba-Adopted!'s Story...
Alba and her litter of puppies were abandoned just days after she gave birth. Luckily, an amazing foster home stepped up to take all of them. Now that the pups are old enough to be on their own, sweet Alba is finally ready to find her own foster or forever home! She is a sweet, loving girl who will make a great family member. Alba can be selective about which dogs she likes, although she gets along fine with the dogs in her foster home. She will chase the cat, but never tries to hurt it. Alba has a more dominant personality and would do best with another male dog similar in size or larger. She loves to run around in the yard and she must be placed in a home with a fenced backyard. Birth date 5/25/11

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alba-Adopted!, a Detroit American Staffordshire Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in Detroit, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Detroit.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Detroit already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Detroit breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Detroit paves the way for another one to be saved.
