Dartmore's Story...
Dartmore was found inside a foreclosed Lemon Grove home when the new owners moved in. Dartmore is sweet, friendly and curious. He loves to rub up against you and purr. Also loves to investigate new places and new smells. Gets along fine with other cats (after proper introductions, of course). In fact, he loves best to pal around with buddy Shamrock #NS04559! Dartmore is a generally passive and relaxed guy, both cat-friendly and people-friendly. He's afraid of dogs, though! His eyes may look a little 'off' to you -- but the vet says that's because of an eye infection he had in the past, and he's just fine now..Learn more on our website at:http://sdcats.org/cats/ns4499

About Our Rescue Group...
Cat AdopTion Service is a non-profit, all-volunteer, no-kill organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and permanent placement of homeless cats and kittens; and to ensuring that all cats, domestic and feral, are spayed or neutered. We have no facility, but rely on a foster home network to care for the kitties until they are adopted. Prior to adoption, all of our cats are current on their vaccines, treated for intestinal parasites and fleas, spayed/neutered, tested for feline leukemia and immunodeficiency viruses (for kittens, we test either the mother or half the litter), and we have addressed any other medical needs that appear during their stay with us.

We also have kitties offered for adoption 24/7 at the La Jolla PetSmart, 8657 Villa La Jolla Drive; as well as at other adoption centers across the county. Once your completed Adoption Questionnaire has been approved, we can direct you to whatever locations have kitties meeting your specific requirements!

Once your application has been approved, we can direct you to whatever locations have kitties meeting your specific requirements.
Adoption fees range from $50-$90 for adult cats, $80-$110 for older kittens, and $100-$150 for kittens under 5 months (less $10 each on a pair or more!). At the time of adoption you will need to complete an adoption contract, pay the adoption fee in cash, and supply a secure cat carrier in which to bring your new best friend home.
