Ciba's Story...
CIBA
4 year old Female Tortie Point Himalayan

Poor Ciba came to us recently as a casualty of the economic downturn of recent years and has bravely adapted to the sudden change in her fortunes.

She is a very cute girl who looks roly-poly but is actually not overweight, just “cobby” as befits her breed. Long ago, she had problems with her eyes, and they still have a cloudy look, but the ophthalmologist assures us that she can see, that the cloudiness is only scar tissue, and that there is nothing further that needs to be done about her eyes.

As for personality, Ciba is initially shy with unfamiliar people, but once she gets to know you, she is a riot and a tease. She is very affectionate, loves belly rubs, and enjoys sleeping on your pillow. She loves to play with toys and gets along splendidly with other cats.

Now Ciba is looking for a quiet home where she can bask in the love of family. A household with another gentle cat would be nice, but she could also be an only cat with one or two adult humans to pamper her.

Ciba is fostered in Lodi, CA. For more information, contact her foster mom Jen: jenniferfarrell@hotmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ciba, a Vacaville Himalayan cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Himalayan for sale in Vacaville, or seeking a Himalayan cat from a breeder in Vacaville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vacaville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vacaville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Himalayan breeders who help with Himalayan rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vacaville paves the way for another one to be saved.
