My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Why Choose me?
Full disclosure – Rottweilers are my favorites, they might look intimidating but many are just friendly happy little bears, just like this guy! What makes him even cuter when you walk up to his kennel is seeing him standing beside his kennel-mate, 15 pound Sparky. We took Roscoe out of his run first and leash-walked him to the interaction pen. He walks pretty well on leash – not quite championship dog show well, but not bad, considering his size. In the pen he was sweet and friendly, and interested in the dog in the next pen in a good way. He wasn’t rowdy at all, but when we brought his rowdy terrier buddy Sparky into the pen, suddenly Roscoe got zippier too. (Again, in a good way.) Leads me to suspect that Sparky may be the brains of their operation. Roscoe, Sparky and Maya are all here because their owners were caught in a drug bust, and since the humans went to jail, the dogs had nowhere to go but here. All three are sweet as can be. Maya is in a different run from her ‘brothers’ because she’s in heat. Roscoe is a doll, and medium-sized for a male rottie – his head is his biggest feature
