Toby's Story...
I am a very loving boy and although you may say I am old I do not agree. I am very active and playful and I want a family that will play with me and hey even take me for walks!

I was dumped on the busy streets of Columbus and left to fend for myself. Luckily the wonder people at the Franklin County Animal Shelter came and got me so I was not hit by a car. When my stray time was up, Harlequin Haven was called to come for me. I needed to gain a few pounds but that didn't take long because I love to eat!!

I was not at the Rescue long till I found what I thought was my forever family!! I even had brothers and a sister. Unfortunately now almost 5 years later I am again homeless along with my brother Lennon. Our owners have lost their home and are financially unable to care for us.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Toby, a Bethel Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Bethel, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in Bethel.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bethel already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bethel breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bethel paves the way for another one to be saved.
