Crawford's Story...
Crawford is a fun-loving girl who wants nothing more than a lap to call her own. She is super playful, loves to cuddle, and thinks kids and people are the best. Crawford is what we like to call and "out-of-the-box kitty" -- just open the box, and she's ready to go, no assembly required, no adjustment period needed. You put her into a new environment, and she owns the place.

Crawford does well with other cats, but shies away from dogs. She is spayed microchipped, negative for FIV/Leuk, treated for all parasites, and fully vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $75, and she is currently staying at the Elmhurst Petco Adoption Center on Rt 83. She'd love to have you stop by to play!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Crawford, a Addison Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Addison, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Addison.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Addison already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Addison breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Addison paves the way for another one to be saved.
