Spanky's Story...

Spanky is a very handsome, healthy 9 year old Appaloosa gelding who was literally saved at the last minute from going to a slaughter house. When Spanky first arrived, he was terrified of people, but in time he has become very trusting and has made major improvements with his ground manners. He is easily handled now and ready to go to his new home. To our knowledge Spanky has never been ridden, although with a very experienced horse person, he probably can be. We are looking for either a foster or forever home for Spanky where he will be loved and pampered.

Spanky's adoption fee is $500.

PLEASE NOTE:   HHARG does not have a shelter or other physical location. All of our animals are cared for in foster homes.

If you are interested in a dog, please first review our adoption policies and procedures and fees, and then fill out our online adoption application.

Please do not email us to ask if a dog is available. If the dog is on our website, he or she is available. We are an all-volunteer group, and our time is limited. Answering emails about availability only slows down the process of processing applications.
