BUGSY's Story...
Hi, I am Bugsy. I am an energetic male Shih Tzu mix. My paperwork says I am 2 years old, but my foster mom thinks I am younger. I love to play! Toys, other dogs, people. . . it doesn’t matter as long as I can run. I love getting attention.

I am crate trained. I sleep very well at night. I am still a puppy at heart, so I need some help with my potty training. I also think that hands are toys, but my foster mom says they aren’t. I am up to date on shots, neutered and heartworm negative.

I really want a forever home. Won’t you take me home?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BUGSY, a Beavercreek Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Beavercreek, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Beavercreek.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Beavercreek already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Beavercreek breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Beavercreek paves the way for another one to be saved.
