Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Fritz's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Fritz's Story...
Fritz is a sweet and loyal boy who loves to cuddle and be with people. Fritz will make you feel loved and cherished. He does fine with dogs but is mostly interested in humans. He is great with kids and is a quick study. Fritz is very agile as most shelties are and likely would make a wonderful running partner when he is grown. Fritz is estimated to be 5-6 months old and weighs 16 pounds.

Since we don't know at all what doggy genes are in the dogs make up (we don't know who mom & dad are!), we are guessing on breed and size when grown.

Please note that because we require a home visit at the time of adoption we can only place animals in homes within a 60 mile radius of Minneapolis.

If you are interested in meeting this dog or pup please fill out the pre-adoption application on our website at www.safehandsrescue.org under Adopt and we will get back to you to arrange a meeting in the foster home.

We also have an Adoptable Dog Meet & Greet on Saturday, January 26th at Fetch Delivers Warehouse at 2303 Kennedy St. NE from noon - 2 pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fritz, a Minneapolis Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog/Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog/Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in Minneapolis, or seeking a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog/Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Minneapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minneapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minneapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog/Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog/Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minneapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
