Delaney's Story...
Delaney is an adorable baby. Her mom is a lab mix and her dad is believed to be a redbone hound. She is an affectionate, loving, playful pup who would be a wonderful addition to any family.
At 7 weeks of age as of 1/2/12, she is currently too young to be spayed. She is in the process of receiving age appropriate vaccinations and will be spayed as soon as she is old enough.

If you are local to Jackson, Madison County Tennessee and would like to adopt Delaney before she is old enough to be spayed and finish vaccinations, then you may apply to do so with the understanding that the remainder of her vetting expenses including spay will be prepaid at the veterinarian clinic of our choice. You will have a certain time frame in which to take her in to complete this vetting at no additional cost to you. If you elect to complete the vetting at another clinic you may do so at your expense. In addition to this we require a $100 refundable deposit on any pet that is released before vetting is complete. This is in addition to the adoption fee and will be refunded upon completion of all vetting within the stated time frame on your adoption contract.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Delaney, a Jackson Labrador Retriever/Redbone Coonhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Redbone Coonhound for sale in Jackson, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Redbone Coonhound puppy from a breeder in Jackson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jackson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jackson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Redbone Coonhound breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Redbone Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jackson paves the way for another one to be saved.
