Honey's Story...
Honey was surrendered to a high kill shelter when her family moved to a new home. She was rescued and placed in a great foster home with dogs of various sizes, cats, and teenaged children to play with. Honey gets along well with everyone. She is playful and affectionate. She is housetrained, crate trained, leash trained. She is spayed and up to date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative and on current on heartworm and flea/tick preventative.

Honey is a delightful girl who would fit in well with almost any family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Honey, a Jackson Labrador Retriever/Rhodesian Ridgeback dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Rhodesian Ridgeback for sale in Jackson, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Rhodesian Ridgeback dog from a breeder in Jackson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jackson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jackson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Rhodesian Ridgeback breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Rhodesian Ridgeback rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jackson paves the way for another one to be saved.
