Honey was surrendered to a high kill shelter when her family moved to a new home. She was rescued and placed in a great foster home with dogs of various sizes, cats, and teenaged children to play with. Honey gets along well with everyone. She is playful and affectionate. She is housetrained, crate trained, leash trained. She is spayed and up to date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative and on current on heartworm and flea/tick preventative.
Honey is a delightful girl who would fit in well with almost any family.
Rescue Group Info...
Saving The Animals Together (S.T.A.T.) is a group of animal lovers dedicated to networking and rescuing dogs and cats from our local high kill shelter. We invite you to help us save the lives of these pets on death row.
We are a foster based rescue and as such, we have no public facilities. When you are ready to meet one of our adoptable pets our volunteer staff will work with you to schedule a meet and greet in a public place that is convenient to your family as well as our staff.
Our $200 adoption fee includes vetting, including spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccinations, deworming, heartworm/lyme/ehrlichiosis test for all dogs (and treatment for any positive results) and a microchip. (Adopter is responsible to register the chip and pay any registration fees). All of our adoptable pets are current on heartworm preventative and flea/tick preventative. You will find our preliminary application on our website http://www.savingtheanimalstogether.org/#!adoptable-dogs-and-cats/c1yi2
For out-of-state adoptions there is an additional non-refundable $150 transport fee.
Upon completion of this application, a volunteer staff member will contact you for a telephone interview. If you are still interested in adopting a new family member from us, we will ask to check your references and visit you in your home to meet your family members (human, canine and feline!).
We look forward to helping you welcome the perfect new family member to your home!
