Baxter's Story...
Meet Baxter, he is a 4 month old male Lab/Boxer Mix, he was rescued by us from a high kill shelter in north Florida. He is going to be a big boy, we call him our Tank as he really has no idea he's not a tiny pup. He is playful as all pups are but he also loves to snuggle and is very affectionate. He has a beautiful coat, real short fur but lovely markings and so soft. He is fostered in a home with other dogs, cats and children and gets along with everyone. He is making great progress with potty training and never has accidents when in his crate. He is crate trained and does well in there too. He has a great personality and is eager to please and quick to learn. Baxter is already neutered and up to date on all his shots inc. rabies. His adoption fee is $200. Please contact us if you would love to give Baxter the furever home he deserves.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Baxter, a Largo Hound (Unknown Type)/Plott Hound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Plott Hound for sale in Largo, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Plott Hound puppy from a breeder in Largo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Largo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Largo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Plott Hound breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Plott Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Largo paves the way for another one to be saved.
