Lauren's Story...
Miss Lauren is a very sweet shepherd mix dog! She is not a large dog, about 45 lbs and is house trained and well-behaved. Lauren was found as a stray and spent a few weeks in the Gwinnett county animal shelter. She was very scared in the shelter and was saved by You Lucky Dog Rescue.
She is looking for her furever home where she will receive lots of love and care. She is still a little scared initially but loves to be around people and other dogs. She loves to cuddle and be petted and loves to go on walks outside. She is spayed and current on all vaccines. She will make an excellent addition to any home.

For additional information, please email info@youluckydogrescue.org. Our adoption fee is $250 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lauren, a Alpharetta Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Alpharetta, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Alpharetta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alpharetta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alpharetta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alpharetta paves the way for another one to be saved.
