Olivia's Story...
Hey there! I'm Olivia. I came to Happily Ever After when I was about four months old from a farm in the Fox Valley area in spring, 2009. When I came here, I hadn't been handled at all so that is why I am a little "untouchable". I will come close to you and sniff you and run around the room when you are in it, but I am not big on the petting and holding thing...maybe eventually! I love to play with other kitties and I am highly entertaining, so if you don't mind a cat that is still afraid of humans but loves life, then I would love to be your girl. Otherwise, keep checking in on me to watch my progress! I am spending more time closer to humans so there is "a light at the end of the tunnel". Hope to see you soon!!! ~Olivia

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Olivia, a Green Bay Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Green Bay, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Green Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Green Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Green Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Green Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
