Mia's Story...
MIA was found running the streets of Cleburne about in the Spring of 2011 & someone managed to make it FTW! She is approximately 2 years old & is one happy camper. Mia 's rear left leg was 'crushed' but after a successful surgery in the Summer of 2011, we were able to save it. She is the fastest one at her foster home! Her front left leg is a little deformed; we were told these problems stemmed from malnutrition. Because of her small size Mia wiill not be adopted into a home with small children. This beauty knows how to use the doggie door, potty pads, and has been patiently waiting for her own furever home! Mia is a VERY happy little girl and loves to play with our other fosters. Her adoption fee is $200.00 Home visit/adoption agreement required prior to confirming ALL adoptions.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mia, a Fort Worth Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher for sale in Fort Worth, or seeking a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Fort Worth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Worth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Worth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Worth paves the way for another one to be saved.
