Toni's Story...
Introducing 'Toni' - a beautiful shihtzu/chihuahua mix. Super sweet girl. Fully vetted; heartworm negative. Knows how to use the doggie door or will use potty pads when indoors. Toni LOVES to play and has lots of energy (and affection) to give to the right family. ALL of Lucy's rescues must live INSIDE the home. A vet reference check on all past/presente pets & home visit is required prior to finalizing ANY adoption. Toni & Jingle loves to play, run, jump, etc., etc. - Toni would make a great addition to ANY family with responsible children over the age of 6. Would you like to meet Toni? Why Adoption is a Great Option

Toni, a Fort Worth Shih Tzu/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Chihuahua for sale in Fort Worth, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Fort Worth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Worth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Worth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Chihuahua breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Worth paves the way for another one to be saved.
