Roy's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Roy's Story...
Roy is a purebred, 2 year old, male Blue Heeler. He's a very playful guy who loves people and is good with other dogs. He knows basic obedience commands and is housetrained. He is a very food motivated dog and needs to have his calories counted for him. He's 35lbs and 20" at the shoulder. Roy is very affectionate and quickly attaches to his new caretakers. He'd be a fabulous agility dog because of his athletisim, willingness to try new things and boldness. He is too attracted to things with wheels, like tractors and 4-wheelers to be a farm dog. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $295. Email: LittleHouseRescue@gmail.com for an application

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roy, a Delano Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Delano, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Delano.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Delano already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Delano breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Delano paves the way for another one to be saved.
