My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adorable little Babs is such a great girl! She is super smart and she likes to be a good girl and is housetrained. She's just a little bit shy when she first meets someone but, toss her a squeeky toy and she forgets all about being timid. Babs is happy, energetic and just loves to play with toys and be silly!

She is looking forward to having an owner who will take her on lots of fun walks since she really enjoys and needs those. However, she can certainly enjoy a good snuggle on your lap after a day of fun.

She loves tummy rubs and will flip over for a rub when meeting new friends. She's an affectionate girl and really values her people.

She lived for eight happy years as a beloved only dog until she had to be surrendered so she would be most satisfied as an only dog. Since she can sometimes be insecure about being grabbed and moved, she will be best in a household with an experienced owner who will teach her to be more comfortable. No scary little kids to grab her or kitty cats for her to chase after in her new home, please.

She also doesn't care for energetic, wild dogs in general and doesn't understand playing with other dogs even though she loves to play with her human. In her prior foster home, a few of the resident dogs went after her and she did defend herself so we're requiring that she be your only dog so she can have a peaceful, happy life with her new family.

If you enjoy the intelligent and playful Jack Russell personality but are looking for one that's not bouncing off the walls, lovely middle-aged Babs may be just the ticket! Keep in mind that Jack Russells tend to live very long lives so you'll have many happy years with her. This little girl acts like she's about 3 years old! She will do best in a household with an experienced owner who enjoys the fiesty Jack Russell personality. Adoption donation $150.
