1/21/13 Meet Kenna! We can't quite decide what breed she is. She looks like she could be a cross between a Sheltie and a GSD. She is a little larger than a sheltie, but smaller than a GSD. She weighs about 35lbs. Kenna was rescued from death row at our local kill shelter. She is a very loving and friendly girl who would make a great addition to any family. She is approx. 8 months old so she has lots of energy but she is not what I would consider to be hyper, just normal puppy energy. Kenna is house trained and does well on the leash, other than a little pulling, but she is still learning. Kenna is doing very well w/ her foster family's other dogs, including a female rat terrier, 2 male huskies, and a male pomeranian. Kenna learned the hard way that the foster family's cat wants nothing to do with her. She now leaves him alone. :) Kenna has been spayed and is up to date with vaccinations. She is ready for her new home. Kenna is located in ARkansas and will be transported to the northeast once adopted. For more info, email kelley.aasr@gmail.com

Rescue Group Info...
Adopt-A-Stray was founded in Jan. 2010, by Kelley Prichard. Since then, it has grown to include a few wonderful volunteers who work very hard to help ensure that our pets are place in loving, forever homes. We are based in Alexander, AR, but we list all of our available pets in the northeast. We work with several different transporters to get our babies to their new homes in the northeast once they are adopted. The transporters we use most often are Got Orphans Transport (www.gotransporters.com) and Alpha Dog (www.alphadogtransport.com).All pets are given age appropriate vaccinations before they leave. Every pet is seen by our vet prior to transport. If you see a pet listed that interests you, please be sure to read the description thoroughly and inquire to the email address listed. Thank you for considering a rescue dog!
