Trixie is adopted's Story...
Hi there, want to cuddle? Well, maybe I should introduce myself first! My name is Trixie, and I am a year old, and I’m a very friendly lovable girl. Do you like to play? So do I! I enjoy chewing on Nylabones, playing with soft toys, and I find spending time with my humans to be especially pleasurable. I just have a zest for life, and there are so many smells out there that it’s difficult to contain my excitement! I also like to go for car rides. I ride very quietly and am no trouble at all.. I am very sociable and enjoy the company of humans, canines or felines. If you have a fairly active home in need of a sweet, playful, and loveable Beagle girl, please consider me as your next furry family member. Can’t wait to cuddle with you so if you are interested in Trixie, please call 603-332-2965 or email me at pepperten@metrocast.net.

PLEASE READ IMPORTANT INFORMATION BELOW BEFORE CALLING:

Our rescue doesn't have an actual shelter building in your area or mine. Therefore, it is not possible to meet the dogs and pups prior to their adoption. They are brought up north from various southern states on a USDA transporter whose web site is www.gotransporters.com and beginning every Thursday afternoon through the last delivery on Saturday afternoon you can follow the transporter on Facebook by logging onto their site at www.facebook.com and go to the search bar and type in Got Orphans Transport. This is a fun way to see all of the dogs and pups and perhaps even see your own as they travel to their forever homes.

Shelter Info...

About Our Shelter...
We rescue dogs/pups from Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky and Georgia. We are a small rescue and we work real hard to find good adoptive homes for all of our dogs and puppy's.
Our dogs are temperament tested, UTD on vaccines, rabies vaccine (age appropiate), heart worm tested (over 6 months) and neutered or spayed (over 6 months) and only good family dogs are available for adoption. Please consider a black dog because black dogs are not adopted as often as their light colored friends. Call Janice at 603-332-2965 or email her at pepperten@metrocast.net
Donate to Our Shelter...
Donations are welcome like blankets, toys, collars, leashes and cash. Donations can be sent to 463 Boat Factory Rd. Morgantown KY 42261
Come Meet Our Pets...
Our shelter is located in Ky and we focus on good homes for our dogs in the Northeast area. Butler County Shelter quarantines all of their dogs and puppy's for two weeks or more before transport.
Our Adoption Process...
Butler County Shelter has teamed up with Janice Berry a USDA broker and you will need to call her at 603-332-2965 or email her at pepperten@metrocast.net for an application (no obligation) as this is the first step in the adoption process. Once we receive your application, we will give you a call and answer any questions that you may have..

Please note: We cannot guarantee the authenticity of the breed or the size of the dog or puppy, as this information is given to us by the shelters and rescues with whom we work.

We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
We adopt out in the Northeast states. We have a USDA transport service called Got Orphans that we use to transport the pets to their new homes in the Northeast area. We are in need of adopters for our pups due to low adoptions here in KY and over population. Most of these beautiful pups are out of time. These pups and dogs do not have much time left due to so many animals being surrendered to the shelter. If you are looking for a best friend or wanting to add a new member to the family, please consider saving a life.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trixie is adopted, a Augusta Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Augusta, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Augusta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Augusta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Augusta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Augusta paves the way for another one to be saved.
