Ellie's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Ellie's Story...
Poor Ellie was adopted into a wonderful home but unfortuantely did not get along with the resident cat. Ellie is great with dogs and loves to play; she will do best in an active home that has time to run or walk her daily. Ellie is about 1 yr old and full of energy; she is only 45 lbs and not sure of her breed; maybe lab mixed with basset or golden retriever but who knows. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ellie, a Washington Labrador Retriever/Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Basset Hound for sale in Washington, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Basset Hound dog from a breeder in Washington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Basset Hound breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Washington paves the way for another one to be saved.
