Eclaire's Story...
01/04/13: Eclaire is a spunky, adorable little princess! She is finally pain-free now that her eyes have been removed. She is quite an investigator and does not let her blindness hinder her quest to conquer the world! Eclaire is house trained and gets along great with her foster siblings. She likes to follow her nose and explore! She is not crated during the day and enjoys the radio to keep her company when her foster mommy is at work. One of her favorite pasttimes is trailing through the kitchen, taking in all the yummy smells. She also enjoys sacking out in her plush bed and catching a nap. In a quick 4 days, Eclaire has pretty well managed to figure out the lay of the house and is quite independent. She would make a great little companion for any household. Her sweet face and personality will steal your heart!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Eclaire, a Wilmington Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Wilmington, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Wilmington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wilmington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wilmington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wilmington paves the way for another one to be saved.
