Cesar's Story...
CESAR (A18933078)
Meet Cesar! This handsome hunk of love found his way into the shelter
when his previous owners could no longer care for him. Cesar is a
gorgeous 1-2 yr old Cane Corso that would love nothing more than to be
in a home with a loving family again. He thinks the shelter is pretty
scary, but once outside of his kennel Cesar opens up and has proven
himself to be quite a sweet and gentle giant. Cesar loves to nuzzle
his big head into you for some head scratches and enjoys just hanging
out away from all the noise with his shelter friends. He has also met
a couple of dogs and seems to be very comfortable and friendly with
them. If interested in adopting Cesar, please bring any resident dogs
or children under 12 into the shelter with you to meet him. Thank you
for your interest in this big, sweet fellow!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cesar, a Philadelphia Cane Corso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cane Corso for sale in Philadelphia, or seeking a Cane Corso dog from a breeder in Philadelphia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Philadelphia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Philadelphia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cane Corso breeders who help with Cane Corso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Philadelphia paves the way for another one to be saved.
