My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

1/09/13: Chance is a 13 week old male, full blooded white Maltese. This little fella is full of life and very easily entertained! He desires your utmost attention and loves to play with squeaky toys, slippers and will carry a small blanket around the house and expect you to play tug of war with him! Chance is currently being fostered by a family that has several pets and he gets along with them all. However he prefers to chase the cats (not out of meanness, but wanting to play)! He mainly plays with a Lab/Pit mix (she is very calm & motherly like) that is a year old. They wrestle and chase one another!

Chance eats dry puppy food, loves to tackle a small chew bone. He is trying to make it to the potty pads on time, but sometimes has an accident. One thing he doesn't like is to be crated or left alone. He will tolerate a puppy
play pen, but at first barks and whines, and then settles down. He prefers to be in your lap or near you, and at night he prefers to snuggle with someone. He wakes up (by licking you) about 4 hours later to go potty and then goes right back to bed!

This puppy was brought into the world by a breeder and there were thoughts of him having neurological issues and blindness. After a day of watching him get about, there was no concern of blindness. The vet also agreed and gave him a A+ for health! Chance received a DA2PP vaccination on 12-19-12.

FYI* Maltese require frequent grooming, however they are hypo allergenic. They are a one person type dog and very loyal. Your attention will be demanded and these little dogs thrive off of affection! Chance is very sweet and has a good
personality. He does not seem thrilled about car rides or having to deal with a lot of change. And he has found his "voice" and likes to bark to get your attention :)
