Maya's Story...
Maya's adoption fee is $350.

Hi there! My name is Maya and I’m 7 yrs old. I’m a Miniature Schnauzer and I weigh around 10 pounds. I’m up to date on shots, micro chipped and spayed. My favourite things to do are to play with balls with squeakers in them and with my foster brother, curl up beside you on the couch and watch TV and to eat! I’m house trained and am not destructive when you go out (though you may want to put the garbage cans out of reach; I like to see what goodies might be in them!)

I do bark a bit when I meet people and dogs on our walks; it’s my way of saying hello, but I will settle down once we’ve been introduced. My ideal home would be a quiet adult home; children make me a bit nervous. If you think we’d be a good match, please drop Tiny Paws a line and tell them Maya’s your girl!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maya, a Toronto Schnauzer (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in Toronto, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Toronto.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toronto already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toronto breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toronto paves the way for another one to be saved.
