Fancy's Story...
Fancy and her littermates will be 9 weeks old this weekend and ready to find their forever homes ~ They are up to date with vaccinations ~ and already microchipped ~ They are in foster care with other dogs, cats, and kids and doing very well with everyone! ~~ Both the Flat Coated Retriever and the Border Collie are active breeds ~ They will need a home where someone is familiar with their energy and has some experience and time to allow them to get the proper amount of exercise they need ~ A fenced in yard would be ideal *Fancy weighs about 9lbs*

~~~ If you would like to submit an application for possible approval for adoption please email rescue-me@earthlink.net so an application can emailed to you ~~~
Puppies require a lot of time for housebreaking, training, and proper socialization ~ It is in the puppies best interest that they be adopted to families where someone will be home most of the day ~ Thank you for your understanding!!
Why Adoption is a Great Option
Fancy, a Milford Flat-Coated Retriever/Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Flat-Coated Retriever/Border Collie for sale in Milford, or seeking a Flat-Coated Retriever/Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Milford.
  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Milford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Milford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Flat-Coated Retriever/Border Collie breeders who help with Flat-Coated Retriever/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Milford paves the way for another one to be saved.
