found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered and up to date with shots.
9 month old Reggie was picked up for running at large. His owners never came to redeem him. It was just days before Christmas, the shelter was overflowing and Reggie was going to be PTS if rescue wasn’t found. Luckily for Reggie, someone in the same town as the shelter had just volunteered to foster so we were able to save this little guy.
Within a day of pulling Reggie, we suddenly found we had a very sick little dog on our hands. Fortunately, we managed to get him to vet just before they all closed down for the holidays. It turns out poor Reggie had a huge abscess in his mouth. The hole went right through his left upper lip. The best guess is that it was from a dog bite. He got two stitches and two kinds of antibiotics and within 24 hrs was back to being a friendly, happy dog.
What a personality this boy has! He can be the calmest, most lovable little lap dog and then he can become an energetic, wild puppy. His previous owners clearly trained him as he arrived housebroken, and knows Sit, Drop It, and Stay. He loves to play fetch and any other game you want to involve him in.
Reggie is currently living with a senior dachshund and Reggie plays very gently with him. His dream home would have a playful canine companion to romp with as well as loving humans.
We have had Reggie neutered, micro chipped and vaccinated. With his longer legs, he has a bit of something else in him which means homes with stairs would not be an issue.
