Ruff Ruff! My name is Shelley
|Breed:||American Bulldog Mix||Color:||White - With Tan, Yellow Or Fawn||Age:||Adult|
|Size:||Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)||Sex:||Female||ID#:||135|
I am already spayed, a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
What else could possibly happen to this dog? Shelley (#135) has been shot at least three times, bred too many times, used as a bait dog and been hit by a car. She is two years old and has been abused her entire life, yet she still believes that people can be nice. She ended up in a shelter, she won their hearts by being such a nice girl, so nice in fact that they sent her to our rescue. She never a cross look or a growl while she was examined and her wounds tended to. Everyone who meets Shelley falls in love with her. She is in a wheelchair with the generous help of Pets with Disabilities. Her medical needs have been tended too. Now Shelley needs a home that will give her the love she deserves. About Shelley: Very sweet and loving, adores people of all ages and wants to be around them. She seems ok with bigger dogs, we aren't sure about cats yet. She needs help getting in and out of her wheelchair, it requires some strength. If you are interested in fostering or adopting this love bug, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line "Shelley"
