Tiffie is a female young adult Bull Terrie mix who weighs around 40 lbs. She was surrendered to animal control by her owner during her advanced preganancy. Tiffie was rescued on the day she was scheduled to be put to sleep. She was frail and basically the only weight she carried was her babies. Poor Tiffie was so emaciated. She gave birth to her puppies on January 29, 2013, and was a wonderful mother. All of her babies have moved on and Tiffie is still waiting to become a family member with individuals who will love and care for her. Tiffie appreciates affection from humans and gets along very well with other dogs and cats. She loves to play with her canine friends engaging in normal play activities of chase and wrestling. She loves toys and treats. She's medium energy. Tiffie is house trained and walks well on a leash. She is spayed and up to date with vaccines and deworming. Tiffie did test positive for heartworm and is receiving a monthly dosage of liquid ivermectin. I'm told there were children in the household she was surrendered from, but was given no ages of the children. She has been around a friend's 7 year old daughter briefly and did fine. Considering Tiffie's sweet personality I believe she'd do well around children who appreciate and respect animals.
