Coco's Story...
This is Coco, she is a NYC shelter survivor who was used as a helper dog to test the other dogs in the shelter because she is SOOOOO DOG FRIENDLY ! Coco is around 9 months old and on the smaller leaner side , she weighs 40 pounds . She is up to date on shots , micro chipped and will be spayed on 1/25. Coco doesn't meet a dog that she doesn't like, her best friend is a 7 year old female rescue who has taken the role of being the mother figure in Coco's life. She is learning dog manners from her buddy and will need some basic obedience as any puppy does at this age to make sure she grows into a well rounded dog! She is curious at first about cats but wants to play with them, easily re-directable so we believe she would do well in a house with cats as well. She loves toys, exercise and play time and if you are looking for a socialized dog that would do well at the dog park or doggy day care Coco is the one !

If you are interested in one of our available pets we first require to fill out an application and agree to a home check. Once the application is approved we arrange a meet and greet with the dog/ dogs of your choice. For fees and applications visit our website : www.pitcityrescue.com. Our rescue strives to make the best matches possible and even though we do not normally adopt out of state we do make exceptions for the perfect match.
