Sugar's Story...
Sugar is a fun loving, goofy girl! Full of life and love, she is just waiting for her perfect family to find her. She is obedient and sweet tempered. She loves when her foster's grandkids come to play, enjoys her walks on the leash, and lives for playtime with the other dogs at her house.

Sugar was rescued from a high kill shelter and placed with her loving foster family. She has been spayed, had all of her shots, is heartworm negaitve and on preventative, and is ready for some lucky family. Could it be you?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sugar, a Jackson Basenji/Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basenji/Collie for sale in Jackson, or seeking a Basenji/Collie dog from a breeder in Jackson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jackson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jackson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basenji/Collie breeders who help with Basenji/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jackson paves the way for another one to be saved.
