Buddy (ADOPTION PENDING)'s Story...
Buddy was discovered as a stray at the local high kill shelter. He was emaciated and unhealthy. After rescue he was placed in a loving foster home where he has been taught to trust and love people.

Buddy is a quiet, peaceful guy who just wants to hang out and chill. He likes to make himself a safe den somewhere; behind the sofa or under a table. Unless, of course, he wants sofa time with a beloved person. Buddy gets along fine with dogs of all sizes, does not have an aggression towards people or other dogs. He is housetrained and crate trained.

Buddy is neutered, up to date on all vaccines, heartworm negative and on preventative. Won't you consider Buddy for your family?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy (ADOPTION PENDING), a Jackson Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Jackson, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Jackson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jackson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jackson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jackson paves the way for another one to be saved.
