COURTESY POST
Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is helping facilitate the placement of this cat. We take no responsibility for the cat's health and medical records. It is the responsibility of the owner and adopter to discuss this.

Moosh is a beautiful, luxuriously soft Himalayan boy. If you are looking for a cat that likes to be close to you and be with you wherever you are, then Moosh may be your boy. He will follow you around like a little puppy. And once in awhile Moosh will even lay in your lap. He is very intelligent, quiet, playful and totally sweet. He will be your loyal companion and loves attention, being talked to and is a great nighttime sleeper. The name Moosh means Mouse in the Farsi language.

Moosh has a bit of a wild side and his owner feels that this is because he has no kitty playmate. So it is an absolute must that Moosh needs a home with one other cat he can stalk and chase and wrestle with. With his alpha-male personality, he would be best placed with a female cat, ideally a kitten or teen cat. He needs to be placed in a home with no young children.

Owning a Himalayan requires a high level of care by someone who is good with animals – daily brushing, regular playtime, a behavior program, feeding twice a day, and regular companionship. Moosh is sensitive, so preferably a quiet home and no dogs. You can read about the Himalayan breed at http://www.vetstreet.com/cats/himalayan.

If you would like more information about Moosh, please contact Karen at 707-310-6425 or by email at k.pahler@comcast.net. Please note that Moosh is not in a Purebreds Plus foster home, but residing with his owner in San Rafael, CA who is placing him. Adoption fee applies.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Moosh, a Vacaville Himalayan cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Himalayan for sale in Vacaville, or seeking a Himalayan cat from a breeder in Vacaville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vacaville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vacaville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Himalayan breeders who help with Himalayan rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vacaville paves the way for another one to be saved.
